Planning permission was sought by a private individual for a partial Change of Use, from B1 Business to Residential, of a number of units at Ventura House, Norwich Road, Watton, IP25 6DW. It is proposed that the scheme take place in two phases of 4 apartments each.
The existing ‘H’ block building was to be externally renovated with timber cladding and masonry paint and the site itself be overhauled and redesigned to accommodate the new residential use. Amenity space was to be provided to the residential units to enhance the area whilst retaining access and parking for the remaining business/ office units on site. The proposal has taken into account the need for privacy, security and safety for potential residents and employees on site whilst attempting to enhance the local environment.
