Steven Swaby: BA(Hons), PCAP, DipArch (Urban), PCAS, RIBA
Steven is the head of the practice. He specializes in Urban Design, Master Planning and Technical Design as well as overseeing the day to day running to the practice. He has a keen interest in Conservation, Social Sustainability and Landscape Design. He has been a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects since 2002.
Steven studied at the University of Lincoln where he gained his Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Architecture and also at the University of Greenwich where he gained a Diploma in Architecture and Urban Design.
With over 20 years of experience in the industry Steven has worked for a number of well-established practices in East Anglia. Responsible for projects ranging from £80,000 to £25million and specialising in residential schemes he also took charge of numerous commercial, retail and education projects, as well as acting as an in-house technical consultant on more specialist projects.
HENRY ISOTTA-DAY: BEng (Hons) , BA (Hons)
Architectural Design Engineer
Having studied both Architecture and Engineering degrees, Henry is able to combine an analytical approach to structural issues with artistic flair.
Sharing the project management duties with Steven, Henry has gained a reputation for innovative and compassionate barn conversions as well as contemporary design.
With 14 years’ experience in practice running projects through planning, building regulations and sustainable design, he has gained an in depth understanding of local planning policy, environmental design and sustainable construction.
FLAVIO BERNARDO: BA (Hons) Architecture
Flavio has recently joined the team, to provide technical and CAD expertise, assisting Steven in the production of drawings throughout the various stages of the project.
Having gained his Architecture degree in Portugal, Flavio has over 6 years of experience working with developers in his native country as well as a sole practitioner with his own client base.
Moving to the UK he continued his career by gaining RIBA Part 3 status and professional qualifications in Architectural Practice.
ABBY GRETTON: BA (Hons) Interior Design
Design & Policy Technician
With a degree in Interior Design and having worked for a number of years in the architecture, design and construction industry, Abby is our latest team member.
Bringing design flair and practical knowledge of working practices, Abby is undertaking a bold new venture of training to become our own in house planning specialist.
Assisting Henry with the day today running of projects she will also be expanding the company’s portfolio in terms of Planning Policy, Land Acquisition, Development and Marketing. Abby also spends time working for our sister company Clayland Homes, providing additional planning support to the development side of Clayland.
