Necton Road – Residential Self Build

The site had already gained outline planning permission but that had lapsed. The scheme was designed with the previous approval in mind, to provide a 5 bedroom private dwelling. The dwelling was to be a self build, and was designed specifically for the clients requirements with this in mind using a highly insulated timber frame structure.  The vernacular design matched the ridge and eaves heights of the neighbouring houses, and is orientated on site to maximise the available south facing garden space to the rear. The building has a generous double height entrance hall with gallery landing and double height windows to the front.
