The client owns a Norfolk Arts and crafts style manor house., which was in need of some renovation to improve its aesthetics, and to provide further amenities.
The proposal sees the creation of a new ion door swimming pool extension to the rear of the manor, new entrance gates and cart lodge and new brickwork facing to the main façade.
The client wanted to have the existing concrete render replaced with Norfolk soft red facing brickwork which he felt would improve the overall look of the property. We came up with a proposal which included alterations to window surrounds, entrance porch and other façade details in an attempt to maintain a Norfolk Arts and Crafts style by bringing forth local vernacular features into the façade.
