Manor Farm – Residential Development
The site already had planning permission for 6 dwellings, but it was decided to revisit the scheme to reduce the numbers and improve the design. Because of its location adjacent a listed farm house, the scheme had to be sensitively designed in liaison with the historical buildings officer, to reflect the agricultural history and significance of Manor Farm. The scheme mimics two barns set in a horseshoe pattern, enclosing a central amenity and parking area. The design of the dwellings was done to give a more domestic feel yet at the same time maintain the overall agricultural feel of the setting. This scheme is also going to be built by Clayland.
