Ashill Master Plan
46 Dwellings
This proposal was to provide 28 dwellings of a mixture of 2 to 5 bedroom open market dwellings and 18 social houses on a 2.5 ha area of land to the North end of the village of Ashill. The site had the advantage of being directly next to the village hall and opposite an existing housing estate. The proposal was to create a rural housing layout that reflected the local character of Ashill in combining loose organic housing layout around a simple street pattern, influenced by the villages existing form. It also included open wildlife spaces, new tree and hedge planting, and public amenity spaces.
